Who we are
Lahari Foundation is a Hyderabad-based skill development foundation working at the intersection of education, employability and women empowerment — connecting urban youth to digital jobs and rural women to sustainable livelihoods across Telangana.
Urban youth from economically weaker sections lack access to quality, job-ready digital training. Rural women have real talent and willingness to work, but lack structured skill development and market access. Lahari Foundation exists to connect skills with opportunity.
A Hyderabad and Telangana where every youth has job-ready digital skills, every rural woman can earn with dignity, and every family has the chance to thrive.
Accessible, practical, market-relevant skill development that creates measurable employment and livelihood outcomes — not just certificates.
We understand local needs before launching any program.
Courses designed around real employability and income potential.
Real, skill-based training rather than theory alone.
Communication, professionalism and self-belief, built into every course.
Placement guidance for urban youth; livelihood mentoring for rural women.
Through our sewing and handicrafts training, we aim to give women in rural Telangana the opportunity to earn with dignity and independence — leading to better education for children, improved nutrition, financial stability and greater decision-making power at home.
We track students trained, course completion rates, income generation improvements, women's participation and community engagement — so partners, donors and communities can see exactly what their support achieves.
Whether you're a student, a rural woman seeking training, a CSR partner or a believer in women's empowerment — we'd love to hear from you.
